Continuing Education workshops in Thai Yoga Bodywork are offered several times a year. All courses are approved by the National Certification Board for Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork (NCBTMB) and the Florida Board of Massage.

INTRODUCTION TO THAI YOGA BODYWORK (14 CE Credit Hours)

Introduce yourself to the ancient healing art of Thai Yoga Bodywork!
This 2-day workshop introduces you to the origins and history of Thai Yoga bodywork, and you will learn how to perform a 60-minute basic routine in the supine, prone and seated positions. Participants should wear loose and comfortable clothing to class, and bring a shiatsu mat or comforter, sheet and 2 pillows.

THAI YOGA FOR THE TABLE (12 CE Credit Hours)

Expand your massage therapy skills by incorporating Thai Yoga techniques for the massage table.

In this 2 day workshop, you will learn how to perform a 60-minute Introductory Thai Yoga for the Table routine that combines gentle Hatha Yoga stretches and acupressure. Please bring a massage table, linens and 2 pillows to class. A manual will be provided to participants.

THAI YOGA BODYWORK LEVEL 1 (35 CE Credit Hours)

Level I is the longest and most comprehensive routine covering the supine position, and is the foundation of Northern Style Thai Yoga Massage. You will learn the fundamentals of Thai Yoga Massage, how to give a 1-1/2 hour session in the supine position, location and methods of working the main energy lines, theory and origins of Thai Yoga massage.

Format of the course is lecture, demonstration, and discussion as well as group study. Level I is a prerequisite to Level II Thai Yoga Massage, however you can take this alone and proceed to Level II at a future date.

THAI YOGA BODYWORK LEVEL 2 (35 CE Credit Hours)

Thai Yoga Bodywork Level 2 will show you additional moves performed in the side-lying, prone and seated positions. Upon completion of Level 1 and 2, you will be able to perform a 2-1/2 to 3 hour routine comprising 132 moves/postures. Format of the course is lecture, demonstration, and discussion as well as group study.

HERBAL THAI YOGA (8 CE Credit Hours)

Learn how to make and use herbal poultices in your session using Thai herbs. This 1-day class will introduce you to the properties of commonly used Thai herbs for healing, and teach you a complete table routine using the herb poultices.
