Intriguing how one appearing so delicately downy
can simultaneously possess the natural resilience and strength
required to withstand the likes of harsh waters during hard winters,
periodic lack of food, all sorts of precipitation, insufficient shelter…
No soft on the outside with warm gooey centers here –
more like innards of steel, slate and nails.
Appearances can be befuddling and contradictory.
What may at first notice seem hard, cold and calculating 
can actually encase a great deal of warmth, compassion and openness.
So does your outer textural integrity betray the you of your inner world,
or is your inner composition reflected in the
you you are perceived to be at first glance?

No matter how bold or unassuming, it’s all good – large, boisterous, petite, demure, we just need to do it – in anyway that moves us – just make a splash – once a day at least. BIG HUGE WAVE, little tiny sprinkle… Dive in feet first and hit the ground running, skipping, jumping – however and wherever they take you – just go with them and make it matter. Because YOUR splash encourages others to splash and we all know where that leads – remember the ripple?
