Ahhhh, così morbido….

…vorrei abbracciarti, tornate…

…sei così tranquilla, così bella..
Intriguing how one appearing so delicately downy
can simultaneously possess the natural resilience and strength
required to withstand the likes of harsh waters during hard winters,
periodic lack of food, all sorts of precipitation, insufficient shelter…
No soft on the outside with warm gooey centers here –
more like innards of steel, slate and nails.
Appearances can be befuddling and contradictory.
What may at first notice seem hard, cold and calculating
can actually encase a great deal of warmth, compassion and openness.
So does your outer textural integrity betray the you of your inner world,
or is your inner composition reflected in the
you you are perceived to be at first glance?

Wow !! You had me there for a few minutes, not understanding Italian I really didn’t know what I was looking at but loved the textures, and was trying to figure it out while I moved down. Great pictures and composition. And the writing was extraordinary, and ended very much like I started, asking is what I see really what i percieve or is it totally different. Great piece !!

Yes, I like the way the viewer was kept guessing what the photo is until they get down to the bottom two photos. I want to check out your website…I found you from your comment over at Orly’s site.
Cheers,
Mary
